As we continue to fight for climate justice and demand the declaration of #climateemergency , I cannot help but wonder, given the pandemic we’re in the midst of, what an emergency situation might actually play out as.

What would an emergency actually entail? Is our power-driven, patriarchal, capitalist system ready to see us (all) through a situation of emergency? Can you imagine living in a fascist, dictatorial regime (this is what the beginning of it would look like)?

I feel helpless. I know you do too, but it’s time we rethink & re-evaluate the way we interact with our surroundings, the very way we exist. Going back to “normal” is not going to cut it. Unless we learn to coexist in nature, we risk falling back into a similar situation.

#ppbltalks what about an ATTITUDE EMERGENCY? This situation of global chaos and confusion, threatens our very survival (as a species). Now is not the time to think about political games or economic gains. It’s time to plan a kinder world.
