David Merner on equity, fairness and internal party politics

The Green Party is the party of open, honest and fair democratic principles. To live up to the Green Party’s participatory democracy values, each one of us has to consider whether we are upholding these values in our party activities.

The core strength of the Greens is our clarity and our moral leadership on critical issues such as the climate emergency. We cannot simply do politics the way the other parties do, with back room decisions and no due process. We cannot afford to lose our heart.
