Extinction Rebellion Shrewsbury – One year since Shropshire Council declared a climate emergency



One year on from Shropshire Council’s declaration of a climate emergency, what has been achieved? Almost nothing. So Extinction Rebellion gathered outside council headquarters at Shirehall, Shrewsbury to protest the lack of action.

In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Extinction Rebellion activists use empty pairs of shoes to represent all the activists who were unable to attend the protest due to lockdown restrictions.
