Families for the Future Webinar: Raising children during a (Climate) Crisis

These webinars are part of our Common Home, Common Ground series.

We’ve brought together all the aspects of our public engagement to bring you a really exciting series of interactive and free to access webinars, from May to July 2020. We wanted to create a space where people can come together, or continue, to have climate conversations from home.

This Mini-Series: Families for the Future

“Children are the Future” but how do we support them in shaping that future? What is our role as parents who care about climate change? How can we address our own eco-anxiety as well as that of our children and make a lasting difference in the World?

Across three on-demand videos, we’ll bring together parents, politicians, campaigners and others to share their experiences and emotions towards parenting during the climate emergency. We’ll round the series off with a live webinar forum where we’ll be discussing the potential families have in influencing decision makers on climate change, answering questions and giving you practical advice on how you can take action.

This Webinar:

Grief, anxiety, despair … Climate change can elicit a lot of tough emotions. This video, the first in a series of 3, we’ll be asking the question: How do we deal with our own emotions around climate change and how does that impact our children?

This video was first published onSource link . We are just re-posting and re-sharing.
