This is an original song that I wrote which reflects (in some aspect) how I have changed in light off COVID-19. From the limited human interactions I’ve had for the last three years, to a work from home job that kept me trapped in my bedroom.
Lyrics:
I walk it off
I’ve been tired of sitting in one place all damn day
I talk to the wall
And don’t you dare repeat anything I say
But in time I’ll talk
About every skateboard wreck I had when I went away
Yeah, I broke some bones
And if you’re asking me they’re predicting rain
Or some light snow – that I’ll combat with a little Global Warming
Because I remembered certain things
I struggled with it every day
And whether it was you or it was me
We drove each other crazy
Back when I used to have more to say
Now I shut-up and hesitate
With double-middle fingers as I walk away
Get off my back, give me a break
