Greta Thunberg is set to address Glastonbury today in a ‘special appearance’ at Britain’s biggest music festival. The 19-year-old Swedish climate campaigner will speak at 5.15pm from the Pyramid Stage in front of a back drop that shows how global temperature have risen.
She is also expected to mention her book, The Climate Book, which is out on October 27. Thunberg’s appearance will be followed by a performance by California female rockers Haim.
It’s unclear how she travelled to the festival from Sweden, where she has been organising school strikes.
