How Can Developing Countries Respond To Global Warming? | Front Seat To Climate Change



Pakistan’s emissions stand at around only 440 million tonnes CO2 equivalent – a measly 0.88% of the total, while our population is about 2.4% of all humanity.

We’ve already highlighted the impacts on Pakistan, and its extreme vulnerability to climate impacts. While elements of governance and development play into this, much of our vulnerability is due to warming caused by increased greenhouse gas emissions.

This is where the idea of “LOSS AND DAMAGE” comes in.
