I have been taking some time to walk around my hometown and give myself some vitamin D (sunshine)! I’ve been playing video-games, reading, and going on walks to take care of my mental health during this time. For those who are new to my page, I just wanted to let you know who I am! My name is Isaias, and I’m an aspiring environmental creative who is looking to create accessible environmental education content. When I first started this page, I wanted to highlight a variety of topics that I have always been passionate about and develop larger conversations based on terminology.
As someone who is continuously unlearning and learning at the same time, I want to be able to provide a safe space for a variety of identities on this page. It can often be intimidating asking questions in specific environmental spaces, which is why I wanted to create Queer Brown Vegan! It’s so important that a variety of BIPOC environmental voices are being highlighted in this movement.
The way I generate and plan content is through suggestions, and DMs I get from folks, so please do not hesitate to reach out if you’d want a specific term to be covered. In the next few months, I’m planning to create more in-depth conversations regarding certain environmental subjects, so I’d like to ask you all – what topics would you like to see discussed here?
