It’s getting warmer and the gardening season is starting. I just read in an article that:
the total area of all gardens is approximately as large as all nature conservation areas in Germany!
What a large area that can be additionally used to the benefit of nature and bees. ???? – balconies, too,actually.
And many of us can contribute, the most important tip seems to be: to allow a little more wilderness. And to look out for local plants, instead of exotic ones from far away. Bees and other insects are not adapted to them and even though they may be blooming in your garden, they won’t find anything to eat.

When I’m grown up ????, I would love to have a garden of my own, too! 😉 Because so far, I don’t know that much about gardening, but I would love to learn more – and eventually apply all cool ideas that are good for nature and a diverse garden at my own place. ???? Have you tried to do something more nature-friendly in your garden or balcony so far?
