Les 3 étapes pour la neutralité carbone en 2050 | Nicolas Plain | TEDxArtsetMétiersBordeaux

During the past few years, we have noticed the direct consequences of human activities on our environment. The emergence of new ways of communication allows us to be aware of everything around the world. How should we react to these observations? How are we concerned about what is happening abroad? And how should we react at our scale by sorting out all those pieces of information?
Nicolas Plain, Polytechnique graduate and advisor at the President’s office for COP21, explains how to use new technologies to respond to the current climate emergency. Based on his experience as a researcher in the Alps and locally sourced ideas, he is building tools to spread collective initiatives. According to him, the development of actions at the local level could help to limit and prevent global warming. Nicolas is a french engineer and explorer. Using his paraglider as a flying lab, he is finding and spreading locally sourced solutions to fight climate change.
Passionate about solutions to fight climate change and protect the environment in Nothern (concrete local and replicable solutions) & Southern countries (access to renewable electricity in rural areas). He wants to invest all his motivation and energy to create a more sustainable future in many different ways. We WILL change the world together, and it starts now !
