All countries must take actions to reduce dangerous emissions into the atmosphere and also employ actions which can help to reduce the current concentrations of the green house gases in the atmosphere. The continued carbon dioxide buildup could lead to a significant enough rise in earth’s surface temperatures to melt the Arctic ice pack which can lead to fatal global impacts.
But are plans to eliminate coal production by 2050 possible. Thirty one years more then? So not that ambitious. Lots of Green Energy targets which is a good start, but surely they need to move faster? Other countries need to follow their example and at least declare their targets.
