Spring has arrived for many of us, but there are of course parts of the world where it’s still pretty darn cold!???? ❄️❄️❄️
March and April can see a mother polar bear bring her new cubs out into the snowy landscape, after sheltering in a maternity den through the frozen and dark winter months. The den has to be dug out of the deep snow, by tunnelling into the snow and ice to create a safe chamber. Her cubs’ first weeks will be spent in there, before spring arrives and the chance to venture outdoors on wobbly legs into a white, but still very cold world! ????????????❄️❄️ …
