Un Climate Change Summit COP27 2022 will be held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt from 6 to 18th November, where global leaders will gather to discuss climate change agenda and negotiate deals to decrease carbon dioxide emissions, is already controversial.

This year the climate change conference will be held and hosted by Egypt. While there will be much discussion on how countries, businesses and industries are progressing with their carbon reduction goals, loss and damage are likely to take up much of the limelight at this climate summit as India is heading for it. After a year of extreme weather events in 2022, many developing countries like India demand that rich nations financially support them for losses and damages already occurring due to climate change impacts.
