Though the concept of global warming is relatively new, the idea that our climate has changed throughout history is nothing new. In fact, there are plenty of ways in which we can observe the effects of climate change around us—and it’s not just in the way we dress for winter. In fact, even if you don’t feel it when you step outside, you’ve likely already experienced climate change.
While we can’t stop global warming from happening, we can take action to prevent its effects from getting worse than they need to be. Climate change is a very complex issue: there are lots of different factors that affect it, from changes in the sun’s heat to the amount of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere to the evolution of plant life on Earth.
