Time for a nap ???? ????… Polar bears are huge when fully grown: males grow to about twice the size of females, and are the largest land carnivores on the planet, along with the Kodiak bears of Alaska ????????. The polar bear’s diet chiefly consists of seals, caught along the edge of sea ice, and the gradual retreat of that ice in the changing climate has made these fascinating and fierce animals increasingly vulnerable. Despite their dense, heavy-looking coats, polars are good swimmers, but loss of their solid ice environments (also supporting seals) means that many end up starving, having travelled long distances in search of food????❄️☀️.
