Utopia Theatre Compilation

Utopia Theatre aims to continue to find ways to ensure that our stories are told. 

To allow us to connect to our audiences in this current climate, we are pleased to announce that we have received funding from the Arts Council as part of the COVID Emergency funding scheme. We will be creating a 6-month online program offering free courses and workshops/talks for people of African origin aged 16+

Courses will include classes ran by leading professionals in Directing, African Theatre/Storytelling, Voice, Movement, Improvisation and Devising, African dance, drumming and acting.

Plus industry talks in Set/Costume design, Sound design, Stage Management, Marketing, Leadership, Writing funding applications, Playwriting, Project Finance and Theatre Administration followed by a final presentation by participants at the end of the program.
