Will humanity unite to stop the climate change? COP 27 summit | Morning World Today | TVP World

The world is beginning to realize what a severe threat the climate crisis is. In recent years, natural disasters have reached unprecedented scales compared to just a few decades ago. Increasing urbanization, and rising production and consumption patterns, are causing nature to degrade at a faster rate than ever before. The effort that the entire world must make to stop climate change is enormous, but humanity has already proven more than once that it can unite for a greater cause. This was the case, for example, with the Montreal Protocol, under which 160 countries joined efforts to stop Ozone depletion. Two days ago, the United Nations Climate Change Conference began. World leaders are discussing a series of key issues to stop climate change, and to help the countries which are exposed to the effects of climate warming. What will be the outcome of this summit? Will any concrete decisions be made to stop climate change? Or is this a purely image-driven meeting that is nothing more than greenwashing? We’ll talk about this topic in this episode of Morning World Today.
