Jamie Margolin started working on issues surrounding climate change when she was a freshmen in high school in Seattle, Washington. She would testify and lobby on legislation at the city and state levels, give speeches, and organize and attend events. She eventually took to social media, and started an organization called Zero Hour to organize a youth climate march in Washington, D.C. and around the world.
