On this November online event of Astronomy on Tap Jena, with us, Olivia Cooper, a third year astronomy graduate student at UT Austin working with Professor Caitlin Casey. Her research focuses on bright and early galaxies, and the role of these massive galaxies in the evolution of the Universe in the first two billion years. She graduated from Smith College in May 2020 with degrees in Astronomy and Physics and a concentration in Climate Change.
