Day 8. I’ve just realised I’ve reached over 4,000 followers!! ???????????? There have been so many things happen that I wasn’t expecting in the last 12 months; (our current situation obviously included ????) but most of the unexpected experiences I’ve had have been overwhelmingly positive, and usually wild!
This time last year ⬆️ I was celebrating sharing my wildlife journey with 1,000 of you. My photography has always been a passion project and I’ve walked thousands of miles ???? showcased hundreds of species ???? and hopefully prompted plenty of smiles, since I started it 18 months ago.
I’ve got to know my local landscape like the back of my hand ????️ delighting in witnessing the wild moments we often overlook and being able to share these with all of you. I’ve collaborated with some of the most amazing conversation charities like the @rspb_love_nature, @sussexwildlifetrust to raise awareness of our incredible biodiversity and I’ve even presented a story for @bbcspringwatch ???? I’ve met some truly inspiring individuals and am so grateful for every opportunity I’ve been given and to you all for following and supporting my page.
This year, I’ve still got high hopes for how I can help nature ????????????from my home and through my work while I can’t go out and through my camera when I can properly get outside again ???? One of these will be campaigning for more local access to green spaces, as now more than ever, I’m becoming painfully aware of how few people have access to them within walking distance ???? Has being inside made you think about any #natureresolutions you might have for our new world?
