Anti-Polythene Drive | Shehr e Khaas | Downtown Srinagar | Global Warming

In contrast to waiting for someone else to start the change so we can follow, we at Kashmir Harvard believe in initiating the change ourselves. Our students are the future leaders, so on this Children’s Day, they pledged to adopt the entire Sheher-e-Khas and purge it of polythene. Principal Kashmir Harvard flagged off the event “Be the Change,” and all the boys of the higher grades replaced plastic bags with eco-friendly ones and vociferated slogans along with the posters and placards in their hands to enlighten and urge the people to stop the use of polythene for a healthier environment in the mentioned region.
The students from lower grades contributed by making placards and eco-friendly bags.
Mr. Raja Zuhaib Tanvir, KPS, SP-North, was the chief guest and boosted the morale of students by joining the drive along with Honorable guests SDPO-Khanyar, SHO Nowhatta, and SHO Khanyar.
