No damage was caused to the artwork because the painting is enclosed in glass. The two activists, both wearing orange high-visibility vests, glued themselves to the wall below the painting on show at the Museum Barberini n Potsdam, Germany.
‘We are in a climate catastrophe and all you are afraid of is tomato soup or mashed potatoes on a painting’, one of the activists says.
