July 2021 was the hottest month ever recorded! Sometimes, understanding the many challenges facing our world isn’t easy or so is the case at least with climate change. Scientists suggest levels of CO2, which as a greenhouse gas traps heat and causes global warming, are now comparable to the Pliocene Age, between 4.1 and 4.5 million years ago, when the sea level was about 24 meters (78 feet) higher than today, and the average temperature was nearly 4 degrees Celsius (°C) (7 degrees Fahrenheit (°F)) warmer.
In this video, Dr. Imran Zawwar and Syed Yaqzan visit these basics of climate change in an effort to describe what is the problem that we are trying to solve!
