Climate Change Heroes – Hunza

Due to rising temperatures, glaciers in Pakistan’s northern mountain ranges are melting rapidly. Glacier Lake Outburst Floods (GLOF) are sudden events where millions of cubic metres of water and debris are released leading to the loss of lives, property, and livelihoods in Gilgit-Baltistan. In our film, we see how Amanullah Khan has been leading from the front to educate the next generation about the causes and effects of climate change, and how communities can adapt and protect themselves from future calamities.
