Immediacy of Climate Change Mitigation

UN The IPCC Chair H. Lee has told the world that global warming of 1.5°C and 2°C will be exceeded during this century unless immediate, rapid, and large-scale reductions in greenhouse gas emissions occur, at the 2021 Glasgow UN COP 26, but this most crucial climate change statement ever has gone unreported and uncommunicated. In fact IPCC assessments over many years have shown emissions had to decline by 2020.
