The workshop will go back to basics: what are citizens’ assemblies; how do they work; why do we want one to tackle the climate and ecological emergency?

We will also speak about CAAN (the Citizens’ Assembly Advocate Network), a new project that aims to create a network of advocates, who will raise awareness of this form of deliberative democracy across the UK at the grassroots level.
