Preparing for disasters, increasing resilience and reducing climate change impact

Implemented by CARE, USAID’s project, Promoting Resilience to Risk of Natural Hazards (PRERONA) aims to repair and refurbish Multi-Purpose Cyclone Shelters (MPCS) in Cox’s Bazar. The project’s goal is to strengthen community resilience by targeting primary schools that double as cyclone shelters in poor conditions to improve their physical infrastructure and learning environment.
