World Economic Forum: Cost of living crisis might overshadow climate change | DW News

An annual risks survey published by the WEF on Wednesday put the global cost of living crisis caused by the pandemic and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as the top immediate risk, saying energy and food supply crunches are likely to persist for the next two years. Ahead of this year’s summit in Davos, the organisation says tackling short-term challenges like inflation could come at the expense of dealing with longer-term global threats.
