Pollution Climate Change Holocene Deforestation Population Acidification Y Not Freakin' Recyclable
The theme of this year’s Youth Against Carbon is Climate Change in the UK, and our campaign film is an immersive animation that takes the viewer on a journey across the UK; from a small village in Wales that is being erased by the sea, to a farm in Norfolk struggling to plant crops for next season.
Our film aims to make it clear just how significantly climate change is impacting the lives and livelihoods of British people. The film is narrated by Amy Meek, a young activist and the co-founder of climate charity Kids Against Plastic. In the narration, she describes how it feels to experience the impacts of the climate crisis as in the UK a young person, and how we can come together to help adapt to it.
