Our current generation is getting close to the tipping point of climate and environmental crisis, and it’s accelerating at an unprecedented speed. However, it is by no means impossible to fight through this challenge, just as how the Secretary General of United Nations have ambitiously stated in his opening remarks at 2019 Climate Action Summit: “The climate emergency is a race we are losing, but it is a race we can win.” The devastating consequences of climate change is inevitably endured by everyone on our planet. Facing such challenge, Hong Kong is utilizing its advantages of being an international financial center to foster the sustainable development of climate and environment.
